| Psycho is Back |
Story plays an important role in the game , so without giving away any major spoiler i'm just gonna give you guys a basic outline of the campaign . The game takes place around 23 years after the incidence of crysis 2 where prophet has transferred his consciousness onto the Alcatraz via symbiotic Nano suit. So, the game kicks off with you being rescued from a Cell base by 'Psycho', yeah you heard me right its Psycho -protagonist from Crysis : Warhead . So after your rescue you came into knowledge that since you destroyed Cephs in Crysis 2 , Cell corporation has been using Alien(Ceph) technology and are on a verge of world Domination and the only cephs that are left on the planet are mindless 'Stalkers' having basic crude animalistic instinct without any hive brain to guide them posing no major threat , although everybody is classifying Cell as the major threat but prophet is somehow convince d that there is an alpha ceph who's gonna invade the earth pretty soon and he(prophet) is the only one who is capable of stopping it. Sadly this is as far as i'll go without revealing the any big spoiler, but there is one thing storyline is one of the major positive side of the game.
Gameplay
Well there isn't any major changes in the gameplay mechanics its pretty similar to Crysis 2 , which is a good thing because changes from Crysis to Crysis 2 were pretty friendly towards fast paced action/Combat during gunplay and highly benefetial towards multiplayer aspect. Well talking about Crysis 3 there are a couple of extra features to nano suit , like you can hack a turret, control panel , land mines...etc. via visor mode which do comes pretty handy and provide tactical advantage during combat and over coming obstacles and there is also a slight changes in upgrade system of nano suit which comes in a 3 types of module set.
Talking of combat gun play is very much improved with proper balance in recoil and stability and also new customizable features are available on weapons like different types of grips or various types of ammo which is a cherry on top when you are killing off more menacing cephs than before or hunting cell agents equipped with Ceph tech , I used hunting in a literary meaning coz you take'em down using an actual bow and arrow and they are not any simple weapon, it was designed specifically for nano suit having enough kinetic energy to take down a rhino in a single shot even while cloaking i.e. using it does not while consume any additional energy and it also has various types of bow for tactical and destructive advantage. Apart from a wide variety of weapons including LMGs , SMGs , Assaults , Snipers, pistols, Launchers & Special weapons like K-volt which fires shock bolts , there are also various types of weapons in this type of category. There are also Alien Ceph weapon present in some surroundings having deadly and special abilities like a bolt sniper which can kill any target with one shot or can destroy surveillance towers of Cell in many regions throughout campaign or a pinch rifle which is a tiny bit similar to Halo's needle gun but this weapon is larger in size and far more lethal , not this there also a wide variety in ceph weapon but they act only as temporary weapon like a mounted heavy Gun and there are also a few objects in surroundings like A light pole/Pipe or an assault shield to use its as physical melee weapon or by using strength of suit by kicking/throwing heavy objects at enemies for tactical advantage. But the game is not gonna be a piece of cake because the AI have been improved and are pretty decent coz as soon as you get a high profile kill or they find a body they go into tactical cover mode and they try to stick together ,they also try pinpointing your location by throwing emp grenades or if you go very close to them using stealth , they will sense you and start shooting. This is the type of gameplay that really amps up your apetite for facing challenge and become a silent predator. The game Play of Crysis 3 is an epic action packed journey filled with many 'OMFG' moments. Now I get it when reviewer from 'ign' said"Devilish Fun Combat - IGN"
Multiplayer
Well Multiplayer is not one of the strongest point of the game but I found it a lot more improved then previous game although it has a fair amount of bugs that might prove to be a hinderance in the flow of game especially being an indian player I get pings around 200-400 ms which is pretty high but when playing the game , these things doesn't seem to bother anymore because you are enjoying yourself too much. This was one of the thing I loved about the game, which according to me is an extremely rare feature found only among a handful of games and also I found that this game has one of the fastest matchmaking system , when I started I found the lobby within 1-2 seconds.
The game also has quite a variety in multiplayer mode some of which are completely new and original , but one of the main attraction was 'The Hunter'mode in which a couple of players are placed in a map as Cell Operatives(No Nano suit powers) and also some players are placed as Hunters(equipped with nano suit) having special module for this game type only providing a permanent stealth activation with only a Hunter Bow and the aim is to kill all Cell operatives before time limit and after the Cell operative is killed it re spawn as a hunter and the Cell operatives have to survive as long as possible using offensive or defensive techniques , I know its not an original game type but its great fun. you can also use hunter bows in other game mode but you will have to unlock it which takes a lot of time, luckily I pre-ordered Hunter edition and got Day 1acces to the Bow and other exclusive items.
Tis game is a great break from rehashed COD(call of duty) series Or basically any other typical fps ,even though I loved COD - Black Ops II it still was like other typical fps game including other COD titles which have nothing more innovative or more to offer. I mean what other multiplayer shooter offers you to place your self in shoes of a super soldier equipped with Alien symbiotic suit with crazy abilities. The game's multiplayer may not be the best but the series is showing promising factor in field of multiplayer and a great action packed experience is guarantied. You'll wind up playing this for weeks , months even.
Visual/Sound FX
Definig Visuals of crisis ... sheeeeesh !!!!!!!! .If I say the visuals were awesome or fantastic it would be a disrespect to CryEngine 3 and to people at Crytek. The only comment that truly describes is "The Best Looking Game Till Date". This time around Crytek has taken it all the way to the top with extremely detailed and realistic facial movement and expression , bringing an explicit detail into weapon & bursts while firing with even grunt enemies or cephs having a detailed and thorough texture and the particles and shading of environment is too good to be true where you can see the details of every leaf in stages with high grass land and there is one thing I'm not easily impressed by any water detailing of a game but this game has a beautiful effect its almost real life like and this time Crytek made no compromise and launched the game directly on DX 11(no DX-9 or10) on pc, ive seen the comparison between PC,PS3 and Xbox 360 and the console versions doesn't even came close to the real thing, Infact there was even a troll pic of Crysis 3 & Ps4's tech demo pic about facial expression and the tag line was 'PS4 outdated before launch'. Anyways since the release of first game the the big question remains the same "Can it run Crysis ?". I'm not kidding , to even run this game you need a decent DX 11 video card and if you want to taste the game in its complete glory you've gotta spend some big Bucks $ !!!Now Talking about the sound FX the game has very strong voice acting and the dialogues that tends to give you a chill or two surely and the sound effects of surrounding and gameplay is brilliant , you can hear the snap of neck during a stealth kill or chirping of the grass while you walk or run on it , including the stretch of bow while you aim, these are some of the finest examples of the great audio mixing done. The music part of the game is bound to be great because the soundtrack of the game was given by Hans Zimmer who has also has give music to the Block buster trilogy of the New Batman Movies , There is nothing else than can be said about Sound Fx other than Mind Blowing.

Pros - Brilliant Sound FX , Best visuals till date , Engaging story , Thrilling Combat
